Maxine Hill

Maxine is a mother, a businesswoman, a wife, and a school principal. Born in the 70s, she worked as a music teacher before starting an import business. Later on, she founded her current retail business that operates to this day in the Byward Market in Ottawa under the name ‘Canada in a Basket’.

She became a school principal, and she worked in the education field for more than 25 years before launching her coaching and consulting business. Maxine has an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the Telfer School of Management, as well as her principal’s and supervisory officer qualifications. She also holds several qualifications such as Crucial Conversation Coach and is a Certified Professional Coach with the ICF.

With more than 15 years of personal experience in the industry, Maxine excels at helping individuals find strategies to cope with difficult situations. Having experienced the challenges of a difficult separation, she can help you navigate the steps involved in accepting the changes that are happening in your life. Maxine also understands the dynamics involved in abusive relationships and can help you find your true value and build a plan to retake control of your life.

If you are hoping to form a blended family, she can help you establish the core values that will guide you in the process. Finally, having parented several children herself and given her extensive experience working with families as a school principal, she can help families or teams who are experiencing difficulties with communication find and establish a positive and effective communication or
parenting approach.
